Juma Al Majid Holding Group Completes Landmark Oracle Fusion ERP Implementation Across Contracting & Services Businesses

Juma Al Majid Holding Group is proud to announce the successful go-live of its Oracle Fusion ERP Applications, marking a significant milestone in the Group’s digital transformation journey and reinforcing its commitment to operational excellence, digital innovation, and future-readiness.

This transformational project unifies financial management, human capital, and operational functions onto a single, cloud-based Oracle Fusion platform, providing enhanced efficiency, real-time data visibility, and improved decision-making across the Group’s diverse Contracting & Services businesses.

The success of this complex, Group-wide implementation reflects the outstanding collaboration between stakeholders from across the Contracting & Services businesses, supported by the steadfast commitment and involvement of the Group Finance Division, whose contribution was instrumental to the project’s success. The initiative has delivered full automation of key operational processes within the Contracting sector, driving efficiency, improving control, and ensuring better visibility across finance, project execution, and resource management. In addition, Fusion integrates pre-sales and after-sales CRM modules, supporting end-to-end customer engagement and enhancing service delivery across the businesses.

As part of the initiative, Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management (HCM) was successfully rolled out across all Group entities, replacing other ERP platforms with a unified, cloud-based platform. The system centralizes essential employee functions including payroll, time and attendance, and performance management. Employees can now access HR services on-the-go through a dedicated mobile app – enabling convenient self-service for tasks such as leave requests, payslip viewing, attendance tracking, and updating personal information. This brings greater transparency, convenience, and responsiveness in managing HR interactions, while providing the organization with standardized processes, centralized data, and real-time workforce insights.

Despite the scale and complexity, the team delivered the system one month ahead of schedule – a rare accomplishment that stands as a testament to exceptional cross-functional coordination and unified execution.

“The successful deployment of Oracle Fusion Applications marks a critical step forward in our commitment to operational excellence, digital innovation, and future-readiness,” said Jawad Farha, Group Chief Information Officer.

“We delivered every requirement, stayed within budget, and even went live ahead of schedule. But beyond technical milestones, the true success came from the shared sense of ownership, accountability, and teamwork that united everyone involved. The next exciting step is the rollout of the Field Service module, which will go live in the coming weeks, further empowering our teams on the ground.”

The project was delivered in partnership with Nalsoft, a trusted Oracle partner with deep expertise in ERP transformations. Speaking at the ceremony, Venkata Nalluri, CEO of Nalsoft, highlighted the vital role of trust and collaboration: “It’s well known that large-scale ERP projects often struggle – global statistics show that success rates can fall below 30%, and that’s rarely due to the technology itself. The achievement was celebrated at a special ceremony attended by senior leadership, including Group CEO Tarig Shalabi, who expressed his pride in the team’s determination and shared success: “Success is the only outcome we accept – and whatever it takes to achieve it, we do it,” said Shalabi.  “I had absolute trust in our people from day one, and they’ve delivered yet again.
