Al Arabia Safety & Security Completes Fire Protection Works for the UAE’s Iconic Zayed National Museum

Al Arabia Safety & Security – Abu Dhabi is proud to announce the successful completion of its fire protection scope at the landmark Zayed National Museum, the UAE’s national museum dedicated to celebrating the life, vision, and legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The museum recently served as the official venue for the 54th Eid Al Etihad celebrations, underscoring its status as a cultural symbol of national pride, heritage and unity. The successful delivery of its safety systems is not only a technical accomplishment – but also a contribution to a landmark of national significance.

The project was executed under the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT), with Al Arabia appointed as the specialist fire protection contractor following the project’s restructuring in 2021. Throughout the execution, Al Arabia’s team delivered a comprehensive scope of fire protection systems across the museum’s main building, podium structures, Timeline Garden, and supporting facilities – ensuring full compliance with the highest safety and operational standards.

The Zayed National Museum project presented one of the most complex engineering and installation environments in the UAE. From confined spaces beneath elevated POD structures to multi-level coordination across five simultaneously active work zones, Al Arabia’s teams overcame significant logistical and technical challenges. Despite the

project’s scale and strict inspection requirements, all works were completed with precision, quality, and unwavering commitment – reinforcing Al Arabia’s reputation as a trusted fire protection partner for culturally significant and technically demanding developments.
