In a historic achievement, Juma Al Majid Co. LLC – Spare Parts & Services has clinched double gold at the 14th Hyundai World Skill Olympics (WSO), a globally acclaimed biennial competition showcasing the prowess of technicians within the Hyundai Service Networks. The event, held in Korea from October 2023, featured rigorous competitions in three categories: ICE (Internal Combustion Engine), EV (Eco-Friendly Vehicles), and CV (Commercial Vehicles). The UAE team exhibited unparalleled skill, securing gold medals in both the ICE and CV categories.
A total of 75 technicians from 56 countries faced intense challenges, including a Written test, a Virtual Reality (VR) Test, and five Practical Tests spread over two days. The gold medal triumph in not just one but two demanding categories reflects the exceptional training, preparation, and commitment demonstrated by the UAE team. This success, the first of its kind in the history of the competition, is a testament to the meticulous preparations and comprehensive training courses, as well as the unwavering determination exhibited by the participants.
