Al Arabia Operations & Maintenance Secures Strategic Facilities Management Contract in Abu Dhabi

Al Arabia for Operations & Maintenance (AA-OMD), is proud to announce that it has secured a major facilities management contract in Abu Dhabi for the provision of hard FM and specialist services across the Command of Military Works (CMW) facilities at Mahawi Camp.
Awarded under the management of ASTECO, a key player within the Aldar Estates platform, the contract spans a diverse portfolio of 22 facilities, including accommodation camps, service and administrative buildings, workshops, training and educational facilities, warehouses, museums, and supporting operational infrastructure. The breadth and variety of these assets highlight the complexity of the environment, requiring structured, multi-disciplinary facilities management delivery across all locations.
The scope includes the delivery of comprehensive hard FM services (MEP, civil, and building fabric maintenance) alongside specialist services, supported by the mobilization of a dedicated technical workforce.
The project will be delivered within a highly controlled operational environment, where continuous service delivery is critical and downtime is not acceptable. This requires rapid mobilization, strict adherence to security and qualification protocols, and full operational readiness within tight timelines.
The contract represents one of the more strategic wins for Al Arabia’s Abu Dhabi operations, further strengthening its position in delivering facilities management services across complex and high-value infrastructure environments.

Mobilization activities are already underway, with a phased deployment of personnel, systems, and infrastructure to meet the client’s requirements, including early mobilization milestones and full operational readiness within the agreed timeframe.
