Al Arabia for Operations & Maintenance (AA-OMD) is pleased to announce that it has successfully achieved ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) certifications across its branches in Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah, complementing its existing certified operations in Abu Dhabi.
Awarded in February 2026 by LRQA, The certification scope includes Facilities Management services covering Hard FM, Soft FM, Civil, and MEP maintenance under centralized QHSE management, across a wide range of asset types such as commercial, residential, retail, and healthcare facilities.
This milestone follows a structured effort spanning over a year, covering preparation, system development, implementation, and audit, and was completed with no major non-conformities identified.
From a business perspective, the certifications reinforce Al Arabia’s alignment with international best practices in quality, safety, and environmental management. They also strengthen the company’s ability to meet prequalification requirements for major tenders, particularly within government, semi-government, utilities, and energy sectors, including entities such as TAQA, DEWA, and ADNOC.
Commenting on the achievement, Mohamed Zakaria, Director of Al Arabia for Operations & Maintenance, said:
“This certification marks an important milestone for AA-OMD and reflects a focused effort by our teams over the past year to align our operations with internationally recognized standards. It strengthens our position with both existing and prospective clients, particularly in sectors where compliance and structured service delivery are critical.”
The certification process involved a comprehensive internal transformation across the organization, including the standardization of operational procedures, implementation of QHSE frameworks, staff training, and alignment of service delivery practices across all branches. This ensured consistency in execution, improved risk management, and enhanced overall operational discipline across the business.
Raed Aldweiri, QHSE Manager at AA-OMD, added:
“Achieving these certifications with no major non-conformities is a strong validation of the systems, processes, and controls implemented across our operations. This provides a solid foundation as we continue to strengthen our QHSE framework and pursue additional certifications, including ISO 41001 for Facilities Management.”
With this achievement, Al Arabia Operations & Maintenance further strengthens its operational framework and market positioning, supporting its continued growth across the UAE’s facilities management and infrastructure sectors.
