 Job Purpose:

Follow up for Repair, Maintain, PPM, site inspections, Reporting for CHILLER & HVAC systems. I Attend and solve all CHILLER & HVAC complaints received by the premise\'s occupant in a short time and good quality work.

CHILLER/HVAC Engineer oversees the work done by CHILLER & HVAC maintenance team on , a job site. Manage, Lead, coordinates, and monitor the operations, maintenance, and service repairs on chillers, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. 


Oversees the installation of new units and replacement parts, and ensures work is completed according to company specifications and established safety guidelines. 

Oversees the Chiller/HVAC maintenance team in carrying out CHILLER & HVAC Systems fault diagnosis, remedial repairs, calibration, and planned preventative maintenance. 

They are responsible for performing heating, cooling and ventilation load analysis. Maintain current knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, utilities, process/clean utilities, control systems, plumbing, and fire protection. 

Principle Accountability
:

1. Lead, Manage, & Oversee the performance, and supervision of the maintenance team in routine CHILLER & HVAC maintenance and repairs to ensure the completion of all CHILLER & HVAC repair work within agreed plan.
2. Lead, Manage, Coordinates, and Monitor the execution of the Preventive and Corrective maintenance activities of all CHILLER & HVAC equipment/systems, adhering to company\'s QHSE policy.
3. Accountable in preparation, review, & approval of PTW/MOS/SOW/RA/JSA, TBT,
Daily/Weekly/Monthly Report and other supporting documents as per job requirement. Generate all kind of reports, condition reports, and renovation report.
4. Accountable in preparation, review, and approval of Asset Capturing, Asset Register, & Asset management for the Chiller & HVAC Systems.
5. Accountable in preparation, review, and approval of Annual PPM Maintenance Schedule, Asset Condition, & Life Cycle Report for the Chiller & HVAC Systems.
6. Accountable in preparation, review, and approval of Annual Budgets for the Chiller & HVAC Systems.
7. Accountable in preparation, review, and approval of Quotations, Invoices, and PO/LPO for the Chiller & HVAC Systems.
8. Accountable in preparation, review, and approval of RFP, and AMC for the Chiller & HVAC Systems.
9. Accountable for the maintenance activities of all CHILLER & HVAC field equipment.
10. Reports faults and identifies requirement for overhauls.
11. Implementing isolation and de-isolation of CHILLER & HVAC equipment.
12. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
13. Inspect CHILLER & HVAC systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
14. Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
15. Test CHILLER & HVAC systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, andfixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of CHILLER & HVAC system.
16. Maintain current mechanical or electrical license or identification card to meet governmental regulations.
17. Review Plan layout and installation of CHILLER & HVAC wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
18. Lead, Manage, & Oversee CHILLER & HVAC maintenance team and instruct them to their responsibility, which includes and training new team members.
19. Follow a preventative cleaning and maintenance program.
20. Monitor energy consumption.
21. Lead, Manage, & Oversee CHILLER & HVAC maintenance team to ensure clean safe and healthy work environment including but not limited to technical plants, engineering offices, and workshops.
22. Attend and participate in the daily engineering meetings.
23. Lead, Manage, & oversee the mmaintenance of CHILLER & HVAC Systems such as AIR­COOLED & WATER COOLED CHILLERS, FAHU, AHU, FCU, DX Type Package Units, Split AC Units, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Motors, Dosing Systems, Compressors, VAV/VRF/VFD Systems, CPM/BMS Systems, and Cold Store systems.
24. Accountable to read and review CHILLER & HVAC drawings for maintenance and troubleshooting requirements.
25. To cover Senior Facilities Engineer, or FM Manager Duties, when delegated.
26. Accountable in solving and attending all kind of Chiller & HVAC complaints such as troubleshooting and rectifying short circuits, replacement of electrical components and equipments.
27. In charge of any Chiller & HVAC system must make inspections and assess potential problems.
28. Accountable to recommend changes or upgrades to Chiller & HVAC systems to increase productivity and functionality.
29. Follow up with the all sub-contractor and inspect their PPM activities.
30. Accountable in reviewing, and approving W\\O and follow up with the maintenance team to complete the required job.
31. Follows the preventive maintenance program planned by the engineer.
32. Reports to and Assists to the in-charge Senior Facilities Engineer or FM Manager in managing the facilities.
33. Reports to the in-charge Senior Facilities Engineer or FM Manager if any anomaly has been
happened or observed to take immediate action.
34. Accountable to comply with all the local or international standards instructions to keep the equipment\'s well maintained and in good working condition.
35. To exercise a personal duty of care for own and teams health, safety and welfare and for those affected by the acts or omissions and promote the same within their area of responsibility.
36. Ensure that a good QHSE and Information security culture is promoted within the department and among peers.
37. To use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended and observe that this is also enforced within the department and among sub-contractors and third parties working in JAM controlled premises/systems.

Minimum Requirement:

• Minimum with 5 to 10 years\' experience in CHILLER & HVAC Systems such as AIR-COOLED & WATER COOLED CHILLERS, FAHU, AHU, FCU, DX Type Package Units, Split AC Units, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Motors, Dosing Systems, Compressors, VAV/VRF/VFD Systems,
CPM/BMS Systems, and Cold Store systems
• Work experience in the above similar CHILLER & HVAC systems typically for around 5 years.
• Past experience in (District cooling plant) water-cooled chillers, cooling tower operations, and maintenance as an advantage.
• Knowledge of CAFM system, KPI & SLA.
• Good reporting skills.
• Gulf Region experience preferred.
