Job Purpose:

Register Sigma in Consultant and Client Vendor Lists and Government & Semi-Government organizations. Strengthen and improve market share in the assigned market ( AUH, Al Alain). Increase Sales, Achieve targets, prepare and follow up new Sales related activities.

Principal Accountabilities

1. The Business Development Engineer will be responsible for getting Sigma/Al Arabia EMS in the vendor list of Consultants & Developers.

2. Registrations & renewals of AA – EMS across all Government, semi-government, military departments and organizations like ADCE. Aldar. Adnoc etc.

3. Identifying & mapping business strengths and customer needs, tracking changes & trends in Market place and activities of competitors

4. Strengthen and improve Al Arabia EMS market share and market coverage in the assigned UAE market

5. Establishing & Increasing customer base, generating new customers and maintaining a very healthy relationship with existing customers. Get regular feedback from customers regarding our products and services.

6. Responsible to achieve individual sales targets, maintain profit margins and KPI’s

7. Able to review tender, check for any deviations, analyze and select a suitable product from the manufacturer\'s product range to meet the customer requirement

8. Preparing estimations and sending quotations to the customers, follow up for the quotations sent, attend technical/commercial meetings with clients, negotiate and finalize the order with the clients.

9. Reviewing subcontract terms (contractual & financial), Submit technical submittal, shop drawings for consultant approval, follow up for approval, advance payment, and attend site meetings.

10. Maintain a cordial and friendly relationship with clients/ consultants/ contractors.

11. Coordinate with factory for Commercial/technical issues related to sales activities.

12. Order placing to the factory after receiving approvals to drawings, technical submittal, and finishes and follow up with factory for material shipment.

13. Coordinate with other departments for any support functions required for normal sales activities.

14. Transfer the file to the Installation Department with all the necessary requirements as per adopted procedures.

15. Continue to support the Installation Department while the project is ongoing according to their need and maintain a relationship with the client for securing future projects

16. Coordinate with local suppliers if required for sales related activities.

17. Find new suppliers for products that are not available or not competitive.

18. Continue to develop the knowledge of applicable international standards and local regulations relative to the domain of work.

19. Handling of Key Accounts.

20. Carry out analysis and produce reports on a monthly and as and when required basis.

21. To undertake complex tasks and projects as agreed that are within jobholders\' experience, skills and capabilities."


Minimum Requirement

Personal skills:

• Professional - Confidential and discrete - Organized - Punctual - Good Verbal and written communicator - Able and willing for continuous improvement - Accurate and attentive to detail - Calm, confident, and positive - Good networking skills.

IT skills required:

• Advanced user for Windows Operating System - Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Candidates with working knowledge on AutoCAD are preferred.



• Fluent English and excellent grammar and correspondence skills

• Arabic language speaking is a plus

Education & Experience

• Ideal Candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor degree preferably in Engineering

• Candidates for this position should have great coordination and communication skills.

• Candidate should possess UAE driving license and own a car.
