Job Purpose:

Follow up for Repair, maintain, PPM, site inspections, Reporting for Electrical LV systems. Attend and solve all Electrical systems complaints received by the premise\'s occupant in a short time and good quality work. Senior Electrical Technician oversees the work done by electricians (electrical technicians) on a job site. Senior Electrical & Electrical Technician to carry out electrical & mechanical fault diagnosis, remedial repairs, calibration and planned preventative maintenance of the Electrical LV Systems, Capacitor Banks, Generator Systems, Pumps, Motors, ATS, UPS Systems, Battery Chargers Systems, Electrical Monitoring & Control Systems (ELICS) & ELV systems.

Principal Accountabilities:

·         Solves and attend all kind of electrical systems complaints such as rectifying short/fault circuits, replacement of electrical systems components and equipment\'s (switches – sockets, fuses, capacitor, circuit breakers, batteries, transformers, indicators, isolators, electrical cables and wirings, contactors, relays, lightings, photocells, & etc.), Electrical LV Systems (MDB, SMDB, FDB, Isolators, Feeder Pillars), Capacitor Banks, Generator Systems, Pumps, Motors, ATS, UPS Systems, Battery Chargers Systems, Electrical Monitoring & Control Systems (ELICS) & ELV systems, installation, overhaul & troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning etc.

·         To carry out Planned, Reactive & Corrective Maintenance Task.

·         Ensure tasks are completed within the required response time based on priorities. Execute PPM tasks as per the schedules and frequencies.

·         Submit the daily reports to the supervisor.

·         Monitor the spare parts, tools, and equipment required to execute the maintenance work.

·         Communicate with supervisors in case of a major breakdown, Emergency tasks, abnormal readings, or issues in the Electrical LV Systems (MDB, SMDB, FDB, Isolators, Feeder Pillars), Capacitor Banks, Generator Systems, Pumps, Motors, ATS, UPS Systems, Battery Chargers Systems, Electrical Monitoring & Control Systems (ELICS) & ELV systems.

·         Follow the safety regulations and procedures while performing maintenance work.

·         Competent to operate Electrical LV Systems (MDB, SMDB, FDB, Isolators, Feeder Pillars), Capacitor Banks, Generator Systems, Pumps, Motors, ATS, UPS Systems, Battery Chargers Systems, Electrical Monitoring & Control Systems (ELICS) & ELV systems , and provide readings & records on a daily basis (as required).

·         In charge of any electrical system must make inspections and assess potential problems.

·         These professionals also recommend changes or upgrades to electrical systems to increase productivity and functionality.

·         Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative repairs on all electrical systems.

·         Follow up with the all sub-contractor and inspect their PPM activities.

·         Attend W\\O, complete the required job, and submit to the supervisor.

·         Generate all kind of reports, condition reports, renovation report.

·         Follows the preventive maintenance program planned by the MEP Supervisor or Electrical Supervisor.

·         Assists the other field technicians when working inside the electrical panels or control panels (ex. Chiller/HVAC, or Mechanical technicians).

·         Reports to the in-charge supervisor if any anomaly has been happened or observed to take immediate action.

·         Follows all the in-charge instructions to keep the equipment’s well maintained and in good working condition.

·         To exercise a personal duty of care for own and teams health, safety and welfare and for those affected by the acts or omissions and promote the same within their area of responsibility.

·         Ensure that a good HSQE and Information security culture is promoted within the department and among peers.

·         To use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended and observe that this is also enforced within the department and among sub-contractors and third parties working in JAM controlled premises/systems.

Experience:

· Minimum 5 years’ experience and having good hands maintenance working experience on the following systems Electrical LV Systems (MDB, SMDB, FDB, Isolators, Feeder Pillars), Capacitor Banks, Generator Systems, Pumps, Motors, ATS, UPS Systems, Battery Chargers Systems, Electrical Monitoring & Control Systems (ELICS) & ELV systems , and associated equipment.

· Work experience in the above similar electrical systems typically for around 5 years.

· Past experience in electrical HV/MV maintenance as an advantage.

· Knowledge of CAFM system, KPI & SLA.

· Good reporting skills.

· Gulf Region experience preferred.
