Description

Job Purpose:
Responsible for develop, well-manage, lead and coordinating all corporate marketing and communications efforts, including branding & positioning, media relations, corporate web site, direct marketing programs and corporate and product marketing collateral; management of corporate events, which enhance the Group’s image and position within the marketplace as well as general public. This position ensures that all company marketing communications messaging is effectively, adhered and consistently conveyed and followed across multiple communication mediums.

 Principal Accountabilities

1)         Strategize and streamline marketing and communication “internal/external” activities, tactics, and programs across the Group to ensure alignments with strategies and objectives.

2)         Establish the marketing department in Juma Al Majid Holding Group, putting in place marketing strategies, department structure, policies and procedures.

3)         Develop, execute, monitor, and measure company’s strategy for building, reporting and the effectiveness of the company\'s brand positioning as well as marketing activities throughout the organization while advise the management on the best marketing practices.

4)         Responsible for development of corporate & product marketing collateral including corporate brochures and promotional communications, ensure all marketing communications messaging, appearance and print collateral, electronic materials, websites etc. are consistent with established branding goals.

5)         Develop excellent relationships with key media to secure and grow media coverage both online and offline.

6)         Standardize and automate marketing processes and procedures taking into considerations the business needs and Principals requirements to ensure transparency and efficiency.

7)         Work closely with “product teams” to define marketing materials and programs & enabling them to meet their business objectives (providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations).

8)         Work closely with the Business Units’ sales and marketing teams; through guiding the day to day activities of the marketing teams.

9)         Manage social media presence and content marketing, and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.

10)     Manages the corporate communications budget to meet organization goals, ensure expenditures do not exceed budget guidelines and estimates, and demonstrate value (ROI).

11)     Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends.

12)     Responsible for overseeing corporate events planning efforts.

 Minimum Requirement

  • 10 years’ experience in marketing out of which 5 years in a similar role.
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, journalism, or equivalent. Masters or MBA degree a plus.
  • Strong understanding of and experience in managing key marketing communications activities (brand identity and positioning, PR, promotions and advertising, corporate marketing collateral development, product marketing collateral development, communications quality control, and corporate events planning and management).
  • Must be able to act on their own initiative, be articulate and also be able to communicate with senior management both within the group and the marketing field.
  • Advanced negotiations skills, with strong, clear, concise written and verbal communication skills in English and knowledge of Arabic.
  • Advanced marketing strategies skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good with IT skills such as MS Office and Internet Research.
